The stars cycled for good and gave 100 hours of free therapy to the children with autism

In the eve of the winter holidays, on 17 and 18 December at Sun Plaza, 24 celebrities have joined hands to give children with autism hours of free therapy. In support of the cause Help Autism Association stand for, celebrities, bloggers, public figures pedaled for 30 minutes each, in the shopping center on a stationary bike, placed in the main entrance.

The social responsibility campaign "Pedal for Good Deeds" for the Association Help Autism was aimed at obtaining financial support for the recovery programs of children affected by autism spectrum disorder and also raising awareness among the community on the need for rehabilitation and integration of these children into mainstream education and into society.

Sun Plaza Shopping Center visitors had the opportunity to be part of the gallery of supporters and root for their favorite star, by making a donation for the children supported by Help Autistim. Gianina Corondan, Bogdan Alexandrescu (Chef Dexter), Marius Chivu, Sânziana Negru, Paul Georgescu (fastest Romanian to cross the English Channel without a neoprene suit) and other personalities in sports, media, radio and TV pedaled and urged their fans and friends to listen to the story and donate for the children.

The amount of donations collected during the 2 days of the event accumulated more than 100 hours of therapy for the children and the decorations "You gave 1 hour of therapy" will adorn trees of the good people that felt to be near the special children's cause, for the holidays.

Help Autism Association supports over 400 children diagnosed with autism and provides more than 600 hours of therapy daily. In order to have a chance at recovery, a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder needs 2 to 8 hours of therapy every day.
