Together we can help them find their first job
In Romania …
live 40 000 persons with autism, 15 537 children and adults are in state evidence. Each year, 1000 children are diagnosed with autism in Romania.
In Europa, less than 10% adults with autism have a job.
To gain access to the employment market a common effort between the private and public sectors is needed in order to grow the programs especially designed for adults with autism.
What we do in this project?
The main objective of the project is to create opportunities for young adults with autism to get hired and integrated into their workplace. We will do this by integrated action at many levels: state institutions that can influence change, companies, specialists and NGOs supporting persons with autism in their effort to prepare, get hired and integrate in a job.
The project is implemented by Help Autism Association and benefits from a 150.000 euros grant from Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants Grants 2014 -2021.
